This week in reading we were looking at understand how sequences of events and ideas can lead to new meaning. We made a ripple diagram were we put down what at first I was thinking . . .Now I’m thinking . . .After reading, I think . . . This is my one
Keep fires away from the plants
And keep your dog on a leash near the sand dunes
This week in reading we were looking at how Fungi are important and amazing here are the reasons:
- They can be used for food and medicine
- They are not plants or animals
- There are lots of different tips
- They grow on top of their food
- Yeast is a fungus so you can thank them for bread
- Without they we would be walking on thick layers of dead leaves

They shouldn’t be allowed in school because they could be very distracting for our work and there would be too many to look after if everyone bought their pet.
For example if you were in a test and there were a lot of dogs and cats running around in such a small space you would not get much done would you?
Also If you just wanted to play with your friends and you had a pet at school that needed care how would you take care of it even if the teacher tried she can’t take care of that many pets!
If you spend the whole day with your pet some pets are very lively so when you come home you properly don’t want to play with them but they will want to play with you!
Pets shouldn’t be allowed in school because they would be distracting and hard to look after when all you want to do is play with your friends.

Water poem
I see schools of tiny fish swimming around the slippery rocks while the gentle waves sneak up the beach. I hear the sound of the far of waves crash around pier and the rushing sound of the close water. I smell the fresh air as I float on the calm water. I taste the salty water as I duck under the small waves. I feel the cold water getting warmer as I swim around the tiny fish.
This week is bully free week. We learned about what you call bulling and what to call mean. We did a quiz I got one wrong and nine right. We also did a poster based on the quote " small ripples create big waves " this is my poster.
